ABOUT THE NATIONAL POLO CENTER
The home for polo in the United States, the National Polo Center (NPC) enables the United States Polo Association to showcase its tournaments, develop American players, and sustain an environment that will retain and attract new players through the promotion of excellence. First-rate facilities including five fields, the Grandstand, restaurants, clubhouse, social club, swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts create the hub in Wellington, Florida for world-class equestrian competition.
On Sunday, March 26, 2022, the second leg of the Gauntlet of Polo culminated in the USPA Gold Cup Final. The distinguished competition found defending champions Pilot (Curtis Pilot, Matias Gonzalez, Matias Torres Zavaleta, Facundo Pieres) battling 2021 USPA Gold Cup victors Scone (David Paradice, Cody Ellis, Poroto Cambiaso, Pelon Stirling, sub. Tomas Panelo).
The Gauntlet of Polo ® serves as the premier spectacle of the season, showcasing the highest level of the sport in America. This heart-pounding competition is a true survival of the fittest as the world's preeminent teams, most skilled athletes and finest horses come together for three months to battle head-to-head for the coveted C.V.
